This week we will continue having a quiz on Wednesday over events we have studied the previous week. A study guide will be given on Tuesday to take home as we have a guest speaker on that day. I will also have you start signing up for different types of news stories to present on Thursday and Friday. This week we will sign up for Local, State, National or World News Stories. You will select a 2 news stories of any kind that fits in those categories. You will be called on to share those stories within small group settings on those days. Be sure you have read the story and have developed an understanding of that story. After Spring Break we will do weekly themes. I will explain this further on Friday.
Also remember from now own you will be responsible for the daily notes/comments that I will collect. If you are absent you are to find 3 news stories of that date on your own, get the information from a classmate, or watch the CBS news on your own to gather the information.
MONDAY 3/24--News/journaling, atlas reviews, prep for guest speaker, sign up for different types of news, look at TIME magazine if done
TUESDAY 3/25--Guest speaker Brendan Kearns, THN Alumni, Photographer, Nature Lover, Community Enthusiast, Study Guide
WEDNESDAY 3/26--News/Journaling, quiz, read newspapers to gather information for presenting or TIME magazine
