One more week until finals, and one more week to keep encouraging you that watching the news is important. Our schedule last week was a little different than posted due to the special appearance from our Guest Speaker Senator Skinner. We will try to reflect on a few more documentaries as we finish out the year. I am hopeful that perhaps some of them will continue to inspire you to keep learning and following events in our world.
MONDAY 5/26--Memorial Day, hope you took some time to remember and honor those we remember on this day.
TUESDAY 5/27--Finish Hoop Dreams and do movie talk with discussion questions. Where are they now? Hand in movie guides completed. If time allows watch the news.
WEDNESDAY 5/28--Letter writing assignment given, will be due Friday. NBC News and journaling, begin Food Inc.
THURSDAY 5/29--NBC News and journaling, Food Inc. continued.
FRIDAY 5/30--NBC News and journaling, Food Inc. continued. Be sure to turn in journals and letters. Study guide for finals provided. We will do map work next week.
