This week will be very busy as we prep for Spring Break. This week is also designated as HIV awareness week in our social studies classes. We will be covering that along with some information on politics/elections while finishing the 9/11 unit. Like I said, very busy. Grades will be posted Tuesday. Please take time to look at them. I will be discussing any concerns with those of you that may be in jeopardy of passing the first grading period.
MONDAY 3/23--DDOG, HIV Unit, Finish 9/11 unit with reading, 9/11 surfer, written assignment due Tuesday.
TUESDAY 3/24--DDOG, HIV Unit-reading/article, assignment on Ch 5 with written work-to be collected, news if time allows
WEDNESDAY 3/25--DDOG, HIV Unit, explain information on Ch 5 with notes, Democrats and Republicans, with preview
THURSDAY 3/26--DDOG, HIV Unit, conclude Democrats and Republican lecture with group/class quiz with signs
FRIDAY 3/27--DDOG, HIV Unit, current issues in our local government, TH video, how do we promote our city ideas/debate

TUESDAY 3/24--Why do you think George Washington warned leaders about the development of political parties? What would he have to say today?
WEDNESDAY 3/25--Do you feel you identify with a political party? If so why or how have you come to that decision, if not explain your reason why.
THURSDAY 3/26--What can political parties do to reach out to your generation of voters?
