Wow last full week of the trimester for us as next week is finals week. We will highlight on issues in the Judicial branch or justice system through current stories and review of important court cases. Note 2nd and 5th period have an ISU teacher and plans may vary.
MONDAY 10/26--DDOG, begin justice system with prewrite on how to handle juveniles in the adult system, source Young Kids, Hard Times
TUESDAY 10/27--DDOG, finish Young Kids, Hard Times with follow up writing and small group discussions on crime, same groups for tomorrow activity
WEDNESDAY 10/28--DDOG, groups will look at court room scenarios and brainstorm the answers, then in groups discuss answers and come up with an group response for each case, will discuss on Thursday, letter writing assignment due Friday, news
THURSDAY 10/29--DDOG, scenario explained, handout cases to look up
FRIDAY 10/30--DDOG, letters due, cases explained and collected, study guide for exam handed out
