This week we will finish studying Congress and then take time away to look at an issue facing state and national government with the justice system. Remember this is a chapter that you will need to memorize certain particulars about both Houses of Congress and the leadership.
MONDAY 1/23--New news sheet, notes on the Senate, and what it takes to be a member of Congress
TUESDAY 1/24--News, finish Congressional notes and pp on how a bill becomes a law, School House Rock
WEDNESDAY 1/25--News, Kahoot Congressional review, start current issues with Young Kids, Hard Times (Juvenile Justice system)
THURSDAY 1/26--News, Congressional Test, continue with Juvenile Justice, article to read after the test
FRIDAY 1/27--News, Presidential Hats activity
