HAPPY WINTER HOMECOMING WEEK!!!!!!!
Maybe we will have a week of good weather, but I believe the Groundhog is saying it might be a lot longer of a winter than we would like. Remember that this week's plans will need to be flexible if we have weather issues again.
MONDAY 2/3--Finish Chapter 12 Section 2 and 3 of Congress. Make sure worksheets over this Chapter are completed. You may have an opportunity to use them or other resources on the quiz over this chapter. CNN Student News.
TUESDAY 2/4--Ch 12 Quiz, Begin activity on Presidential Hats. As you begin this chapter I want you to especially pay close attention to all the roles that the President must fill in his job when you read. This chapter will not have a study guide or worksheet, so you are responsible for reading and working through the information as we discuss in class.
WEDNESDAY 2/5--Go over section section 1 with class by reviewing and collecting hats. Assign Presidential Project for lab time THURSDAY.
THURSDAY 2/6--Lab Day for President Projects.
FRIDAY 2/7--Work on Projects in class by getting supplies and paper, 10-15 minutes to use time to work. They are due Tuesday 2/11 in class for sharing. They must be turned in on this day because you will be sharing your project in class. If it is late you will lose 10 points or more. Your classmates learning about the presidents will be dependent on you having your project there.
