We are officially on to our next branch of government as we begin studying the Executive Branch or the Presidency. Many of you have show interest and curiosity in our Chief Executive and also those of the past. I look forward to our lessons and discussions on how the President leads in our country and the world.
MONDAY 4/22--Work Day with substitute. A packet will be left for you to read and complete as you begin Chapter 13. As you begin this chapter I want you to especially pay close attention to all the roles that the President must fill in his job. Work packet that includes drawing Presidential hats and symbols.
TUESDAY 4/23--Computer lab day. Last Friday you were given a project on studying presidents. Today we will working in the computer lab researching your assigned president. Use the time to find the specific facts and information mentioned in the rubric along with getting the pictures printed.
WEDNESDAY 4/24--Go over section section 1 and 2 with class. Work time for projects.
THURSDAY 4/25--Watch Presidential Photographer video in class. When completed you will write a response about the video. If you are absent there is an alternative assignment that must be completed.
FRIDAY 4/26--PROJECT DAY. Your projects are due and we will present on this day in a group format.
