Happy Homecoming Week! This is your last Fall Homecoming so please take advantage of all that you can do and attend this week. You won't regret it! For class we will be learning some of the many things you have had questions about all year. We will start the week with learning about Political Parties and finish with elections. Again a reminder that a lot of the information/explanations that I share in class are not in your book so it is very important that you are here for the week.
MONDAY 9/29--DDOG, Presidential posters due! We will be sharing the posters in class and learning from each other. Write down a fact on each President and turn in for assignment with the projects.
TUESDAY 9/30--DDOG, Predictions on political parties. We will be learning the difference between Democrats and Republicans today. Reading Section 4 time in class, if not finished take home and finish.
WEDNESDAY 10/1--DDOG, finish Democrat and Republicans information. Start going over the election process and informal qualifications. Section 4 lecture. Show clips from the primaries and their debates.
THURSDAY 10/2--DDOG, National Conventions explained and clips shared from 2012 conventions.
FRIDAY 10/3--DDOG (due today), Section 5 lecture with Presidential qualities assignment, finish election clips if needed

Tuesday 9/30-- Should private citizens or special groups be able to donate as much as they want to political campaigns? Why or why not?
Wednesday 10/1--What will impact you the most when you choose to vote or support a person in an election?
Thursday 10/2--Describe what kind of people actually become President (not the requirements).
