NOTE: Second hour students will have a slightly different week since they are being taught by Mr. Wright from ISU this week. Chapter 13 takes a look at the buildup of WWII and the decisions that lead to the US supporting our allies and eventually entering the war. Your focus should be on the timeline of events and the US decisions and policies along the way.
MONDAY 3/9--Explain Daily Work and handout for the week. Handout Engrade information and encourage registration. Guided Reading over Ch 13 work for part of the hour and then go over Section 1 with notes.
TUESDAY 3/10--Daily Work , Section 2 with notes and allow time for Guided Reading work. News if time allows.
WEDNESDAY 3/11--Daily Work, go over Section 4 and explain Pearl Harbor with Clips. Test over Ch 13 will be Friday. Guided reading due at that time.
THURSDAY 3/12--Daily Work, The Century video with guided questions to be completed. Test Friday and Guided Reading due.
FRIDAY 3/13-Daily Work, Test over WWII buildup and Pearl Harbor. Stories from Tom Brokaw and news.

Wednesday 3/11—Read the Primary Source on p. 476 by Franklin Roosevelt and the 4 Freedoms. What are the 4 freedoms that FDR felt humans should have in the world?
Thursday 3/12— Read Turning Point on p 478 about Pearl Harbor. Based on what we have studied answer the HYPOTHESIZING question.
Friday 3/13—Current Event of Choice, with explanation
