This is a big week as we finish studying the Civil Rights Era and Ch 18 and start looking at the Vietnam War. Also remember that your projects are due on Wednesday May 6th. We will be using clips of videos, pictures, and music to add to the information in class. Please make it a priority to be in class as this information really adds to what you can learn from the book.
MONDAY May 4 (May the 4th be with you):
Daily Work, finish Section 1 and start Section 2 of Ch 18 with clips from Selma, News and Time to work on project
TUESDAY May 5:
Daily Work, finish Section 3, News and time to complete projects, clips from The Century on Selma.
WEDNESDAY May 6:
Daily Work,Ch 18 Quiz , Start reading Ch 19 and have time to work on projects, news if time allows,
THURSDAY May 7:
Daily Work, Begin Ch 19 with Music--Soldier Boy and Ballad of the Green Berets, Section 1 Notes
FRIDAY May 8
Daily Work (due today from last two weeks), Timeline Projects Due (if turned in early can earn extra credit), Music--Fortunate Son and 18 (also 19), Section 2 Notes, Dress like the 60s for Extra Credit today (must follow school guidelines for dress code)
