This is the last grading period of your high school career!!!! Wow! We still have a lot to learn to prepare you for being an active and engaged citizen. We will be focusing on the 3 Branches of the Federal Government for the rest of the trimester along with its impact on current situations and you. I think you will really enjoy learning the history of the branches along with its modern day roles.
MONDAY 4/16--News, Introduction to the Legislative Branch with clips from the Center on Congress and notes on the basics of the House and the Senate
TUESDAY 4/17--News. continue with clips on Center for Congress as we explore the roles of the Senate and House in further detail with their duties
WEDNESDAY 4/18--News, look at the legislative process with charts, notes, and School House Rock, study guide
THURSDAY 4/19--News. Test on Congress, article on the Presidency
FRIDAY 4/20--News, Presidential Hats activity with reading on the Presidential Roles-collect assignment and news
