We will finish up Chapter 5 on Westward Expansion and begin Ch 6 this week. It may be difficult to get the entire Chapter completed prior to break so we may use alternative ways to assess you on the information other than a traditional test. Ch 6 starts to look at the Industrialization of America in the late 1800s to early 1900s. It is an era that still has an impact on our lives today. Story of US will continue to be used in showing you some of the important information of the growth of our country and cities.
MONDAY 11/16--Start Daily Dose of News, Ch 5 Conclusion, finish Story of US on the Heartland with guide (collect), Crash Course on Westward Expansion as a review, news if time and resources allow. Test tomorrow and vocab due.
TUESDAY 11/17--Daily Dose of News, Ch 5 Test, vocabulary for the Chapter due prior to exam, begin Ch 6 vocabulary work.
WEDNESDAY 11/18--Daily Dose of News, Ch 6 Test corrections-due by Thursday, finish vocabulary work, start Story of US BOOM! with guide
THURSDAY 11/19--Daily Dose of News, finish Tet Corrections, Ch 6 Assessments/Reading Guides that we will finish and collect on Friday
FRIDAY 11/20--Daily Dose of News, finish Ch 6 Assessments/Reading Guide
