I am so excited to be able to be on this journey with you as we learn about our country from the WWII era to the turn on the 21st Century. We will be looking at many events through the eyes and experiences of Americans. I love teaching this class and cannot wait to explore the topics with you.
MONDAY 11/4--Welcome and procedures, special song, fill out Timeline Scramble first on your own and then in small group share.
TUESDAY 11/5--Daily question, go over Timeline Scramble. It is not as important for us to learn exact dates, but sequence of events leads to understanding. This will be a way to see what you know and learn the topics you will be studying. Start looking at vocabulary terms and people for WWII and Chapter 16 with assignment. Start reading from Eva Kor book.
WEDNESDAY 11/6--Daily Question, start Ch 16 notes (guided notes) on the build up to WWII with the world leaders and their philosophies. Reading from Eva Kor book. Clips on Blitzkrieg.
