“If you bless someone with your abundance, when it comes time and you need something, it will just appear.” I am back to decluttering. Taking another go and this time I am doing it on my terms. I share how I have decided that there is not “right” way to get rid of your things or that you even have to but that I can do it using what works best for both my strengths and weaknesses. I talk about my new thoughts about all my stuff and how I have been so blessed to have enough that I can even think about decluttering. I can bless others with my abundance. Also enjoy the Olympics!
Show Notes: Hi Friends! I hope you enjoyed listening to this episode. Below are all the references.
What I learned this week: I am trying again to get to this decluttering. I realized that I sometimes think there is a perfect way to declutter and I need to find it before I get started so I do it right. The thing is, I realized there is no perfect way. There is just a way that works for you. I need to embrace all of my strengths and weaknesses. I just need to get started and keep working on it. Another thing that holds me back is that when I declutter or make a pile of things to donate I need to find just the right place. That then makes the items just sit around for a long time. Instead I will just take them to my local thrift store and someone there can benefit form them. A favorite quote that I mentioned is from the FLY Lady, “If you bless someone with your abundance, when it comes time and you need something, it will just appear.”
Then another thought that really helped me was this idea that I have more that what I need and I have been so blessed that I can noe give things away. Look at all your items as a blessing, you have used and then be willing to give them away to make room for your future and something new.
