“Always have something to do when your guests arrive at the party.” It was fun going down memory lane and remembering some of my favorite birthday parties that I have thrown over the years for my kids. I really do love a good party! In this episode I share 5 different birthday parties, the Princess mother-daughter party, the Pokemon party, the Quidditch Party, the Wild Kratt party and the Harry Potter party (which is different from the quidditch party. Can you tell we love Harry Potter at our house?) I also share a few tips that I learned from the Alison Show to think about when you are planning a party. What is your priority - Food, a good theme, people having a good time? You need to pick because you can’t do it all.
Who are you going to invite - don’t let others dictate whether you have a party or not because you are worried you can’t invite everyone.
Where are you going to have the party? Your space might limit who you are able to invite.
What time are you going to have the party? That will dictate the type of food that you will have.
What theme and colors do you want?
