“Praise the process and embrace challenges.” I am excited to share what I learned from the book The Growth Mindset by Carol Dweck in this episode. I learned so many things about changing your mindset. From fixed, this idea that your intelligence or personality or really anything is fixed to growth where with practice, proper methods, feedback, and persistence and guidance you can grow your intelligence or personality or in other ways. It was eye opening to me to see how I need to be aware of how I praise my children so that I can help them develop their own sense of a growth mindset as well. So listen and grow with me as we learn together how to develop a growth mindset.
