“Are you sure you want to take the bus on your first day of school?” Camille shares in this episode how nervous she was to send her first child to school on a bus. She also shares how their family has been doing well in what the state of Ohio deemed a low performing or “failing school district.” She confesses a few of her assumptions and fears before she even sent her oldest to school. With wonderful teachers and administrators Camille shares some of her family’s experience in her school district and that maybe the rankings or ratings does not give the whole picture of what is happening in the schools.
