Episode 26: Expectation of time - and Einstein's theory of relativity

expectation of time - and Einstein's theory of relativity - Episode 26

“When you sit with a nice girl for two hours you think it’s only a minute, but when you sit on a hot stove for a minute you think it’s two hours. That’s relativity.” - Albert Einstein In this episode, Camille shares her thoughts about time. She has been reflecting on time as her son has just finished serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. How has two years gone by already? She talks about the reason it feels like time for us goes by fast or slow and shares some stories. Which brings her to Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, and the idea of our head clock and the earth clock. She also talks about perceptions and expectations of time and how that can affect us. Finally she mentions the idea of time scarcity vs time abundance. We all have the same amount of time and it can be viewed as a gift if we let it. Come spend some time with Camille and she shares her own thoughts about time.
