I am back … this is not a throwback. Today I share a short reflection about the wedding and making an experience. I mention how it can be so easy to get caught up in all of the things: dress, cake, food, venue, music, invitations and that the experience during the party can be more of an afterthought. I share how my daughter had a great vision of what she wanted for the experience. I also share a few experiences we had before the wedding which also made it so memorable.
Show Notes: Hi Friends! I hope you enjoyed listening to this episode. Below are all the references.
What I learned this week: It is fun to think about the wedding and thinking about of what I learned. There are so many things to think about for the wedding and a lot of it is the look of the wedding but one things I noticed that my daughter was also very aware of is to make sure it was an experience for people. She picked the venue because not only was it a beautiful place but it was a also a great place and fun experience all around. She was sure to make an experience with her bridesmaids that day of the wedding having everyone get ready together. It is so easy to get lost in all of the things and forget about what everyone will experience when they are there. So that is for sure something I am going to think more about when I think about the next wedding.
It was also super fun to get to know her husbands family and extended family. Such fun people and then all the showers beforehand. All of it was such a fun time and so fun getting to know people.
The day of the wedding goes by so fast and it was just fun to see so many people and talk with them. That was my favorite part.
