Ingredients
2 cups of dry pasta
4 cup water
1 Tablespoon olive oil
¼ cup chopped onion
1 ¼ Tablespoons pesto
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
⅛ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black
Directions
1) Gather all ingredients.
2) In a stockpot, fill a large pot with 4 cups of water and bring to a rolling boil.
3) Stir in pasta and return to a boil. Cook pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and transfer into a large bowl.
4) Meanwhile, heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add onion; cook and stir until softened, about 3 minutes.
5) To the cooked onions, stir in pesto, salt, and pepper until warmed through.
6) Add pesto mixture to hot pasta; stir in grated cheese and toss well to coat.
