Ingredients
16 slices of French bread or 8 pockets (cut ½ to ¾ in thick)
½ pkg of cream cheese softened
½ c ricotta cheese
Opt. Cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, or almond extract
4 eggs whisked together
2 T butter
Directions
1) Combine cream cheese, ricotta cheese, and optional seasonings.
2) Spread the cream cheese mixture over a slice of bread and cover with another slice of bread, or stuff the cheese mixture into a single slice of bread.
3) Heat pan on the stove with 2T butter.
4) Dip and flip bread into egg batter and fry both sides in a heated pan.
5) Top with fruit and whipped cream.
