Ingredients
2 ¼ cups warm water
1 Tablespoon yeast (heaping)
¼ cup potato flakes
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
¼ cup oil
5 cup flour (add gradually)
Directions
1) Add together water, yeast, potato flakes, and sugar.
2) Wait about 10 minutes for the yeast to activate.
3) Mix the salt, oil, and flour in gradually. This will form a shaggy dough. Let sit for 15 minutes.
4) Form into a ball. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour so you can handle it. Place in a large bowl, covered with a damp tea towel, and let double. This works best in a warm area of the house.
5) Shape into rolls or bread pans, depending on what you want.
6) Let rise until doubled
7) Bake @ 350 degrees.
*Bake rolls for 15 minutes
*Bake loaf for 30 minutes
