Up to 3 yards of Cotton or Flannel Fabric
3 yards of 1-inch grosgrain ribbon

Directions
1) Iron your fabric.
2) Measure and cut fabric if needed, 42x42.
3) Lay a piece of fabric right-side up, Lay the 2nd piece of fabric right-side down, on top of the 1st piece of fabric.
4) Pin together every 3 inches.
5) In the center of one of the sides of the fabric, double pin and DO NOT sew a 5-inch wide opening (where you will turn the fabric right side outside).
6) Sew with the foot against the edge of the fabric, don't forget to start with and end with a backstitch.
7) Trim excess edges and all corners of the blanket.
9) Iron, making sure the seam is tight and centered.
10) Stitch around the blanket, stay close to the edge, and don't forget to start with a backstitch and end with a backstitch.
11) Across the blanket, mark a "+" with chalk using a ruler.
12) Stitch the "+", don't forget to start with a backstitch and end with a backstitch.
*Check for any threads before handing in. I will not grade a project that has loose threads hanging.
