Ingredients
1 c white sugar
1/4 c butter
1/4 c milk
2 T and 2 t cocoa
1/3 c peanut butter
1-1/2 c quick-cooking oats
1 t vanilla extract
Directions
1) Place a piece of wax paper or foil on a cookie sheet.
2) Combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa in a medium saucepan.
3) Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a rolling boil.
4) Remove from heat; cool for 1 minute.
5) Add peanut butter; stir to blend. Add oats and vanilla; stir to mix well.
6) Quickly drop the mixture by heaping teaspoons onto wax paper or foil.
7) Cool completely. Store in a cool, dry place.
