Recipe
1 (18.25 ounce) package of lemon cake mix
2 eggs
½ cup shortening (butter or plain)
1 T water
1 cup confectioner sugar
¼ teaspoon lemon extract
1 tablespoon milk
1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2) Line baking sheets with foil
3) Mix cake mix, eggs, water, and shortening.
4) Drop by rounded teaspoons onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake
5) To Make Lemon Icing: Mix confectioner sugar, lemon extract, and milk. Mix until there are no lumps.
6) Drizzle glaze over cookies that are on foil
