Recipe
Ingredients
1 ½ c sugar
½ c butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c sour cream
½ t baking powder
1 t baking soda
¼ t salt
2 mashed ripe bananas
2 ½ c flour
¼ c brown sugar
¼ cup chopped nuts
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla
3) Add the remaining ingredients
4) Beat with an electric mixer until blended on high for 2 min
5) Pour batter into a greased large loaf pan
6) Sprinkle brown sugar over the top of the batter
7) Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean
8) Remove from oven and cool on a cooling rack
