Ingredients-Muffins
1 c Sugar
½ c Butter or Margarine
3 eggs
2½ c Flour
2 t Baking Soda
1 t Nutmeg
½ t Cinnamon
¾c + 1T Buttermilk
Ingredients-Topping
½ c Sugar
½ t Cinnamon
½ t Nutmeg
Ingredients-Glaze
1 c Sifted Powdered Sugar
1T Milk
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2) In a mixing bowl, cream the sugar and butter with an electric mixer.
3) When mixed, add eggs and beat one more minute.
4) Sift the flour into a separate bowl, together with the baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
5) Add the flour and buttermilk alternately into the batter mixing at low speed until smooth.
6) Place cupcake liners in muffin tins. Fill each cup ¾ full of batter.
7) Mix topping ingredients together, and add a rounded tablespoon of the topping to each muffin.
8) Bake immediately or the topping will sink to the bottom of the muffin.
9) Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 min.
10) Mix glaze ingredients
11) Mix and continue to add 1t of milk until thin enough to drizzle on the muffins
12) Take muffins out and drizzle glaze on them immediately.
