Ingredients
3 c fresh broccoli washed and cut into chunks
½ med onion diced
2 ¼ c water
5 chicken bullion cubes
¼ t thyme
½ t garlic salt
¼ c butter melted
¼ c flour
Dash of pepper
3 c milk
Directions
1) Combine broccoli, onion, water, bullion cubes, thyme, and garlic salt in a large pan and bring to a boil.
2) Simmer for 15 min.
3) Remove from heat and puree' in a blender.
4) In a saucepan make a roux sauce, using the butter, flour, peppers, and milk. Do not boil.
5) Add to pureed vegetables, stir well, and serve. Do NOT boil.
