Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup milk (2% or whole milk)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
¼ cup sugar
1 Teaspoon of vanilla
¼ cup of rock salt
Ice
Directions
1) Mix milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla in a liquid measuring cup.
2) Pour the mixture into a quart zip-lock bag and duct tape it shut. (This prevents the ice and salt from mixing with the ice cream.)
3) Place quart zip-lock bag in a gallon zip-lock bag and fill with ice and rock salt.
4) Duct tape gallon zip-lock bag shut.
5) Shake until the ice cream is frozen.
6) Cut gallon zip-lock bag open.
7) Rinse off the quart zip-lock bag before you open it
8) Serve in a cup.
