Ingredients
1 pound frozen whole green beans
½ cup bacon raw and chopped
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce regular soy sauce will be too salty
1 ½ tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Pepper to taste
Directions
1) With warm water rinse frozen green beans and drain.
2) Melt butter in skillet over medium heat add green beans, and saute until they are warm. Stir them occasionally, so they cook evenly.
3) Add the cooked bacon, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet.
4) Toss until a thick sauce is formed, about 3 minutes.
5) Pepper to taste.
