Recipe for Buttermilk Syrup
Ingredients
½ cup of butter
¾ cup sugar
½ cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
1) Gather the ingredients.
2) Heat sugar, buttermilk, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until the mixture starts to boil.
3) Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir baking soda and vanilla into the buttermilk mixture.
Note:
Make sure your pan is big enough, as the syrup will foam up.
Recipe for Chocolate Syrup
Ingredients
1 ½ c Sugar
Scant ¼ c Cocoa
Dash of Salt
⅔ cup Canned Milk
Directions
1) Stir sugar and cocoa in a pan until mixed thoroughly.
2) Add salt and canned milk and cook until the sugar is dissolved.
3) DO NOT BOIL!!
Recipe for Cinnamon Cream
Ingredients
1 c Sugar
½ c light corn syrup
¼ c water
¾ t cinnamon
½ c canned milk
Directions
1) In a saucepan, combine the first four ingredients.
2) Bring to a boil over medium heat.
3) Boil and stir for 2 min.
4) Cool for 5 min.
5) Stir in milk.
Recipe for Maple Syrup
Ingredients
2 c Sugar
1 c water
1 T Maple flavoring
Directions
1) On medium heat, add sugar and water to a small pan.
2) Stir and heat until sugar is dissolved.
3) DO NOT BOIL!!
4) When dissolved, add Maple flavoring.
