Stamford Indoor Bowls Club will play local rivals Boston in the first round of the National inter-club Denny Cup which starts in September.

Boston pipped Stamford to the Lincolnshire first division title and reached the semi-final of the Denny Plate last season but Stamford will be aiming to overturn that when the two teams meet early in the season with the winners due to face either Sleaford or Long Sutton.

In the Senior double rink competition in which Stamford reached the last 16, their A team plays Sleaford B while the B team takes on Skegness.

Lincolnshire have again been drawn against Durham in the Senior Liberty Trophy in which Stamford usually has a strong representation.

Peterborough or Spalding will meet for the right to play Stamford in the Yetton Trophy inter-club women's championship, while Stamford senior team play March in the Mason Trophy for seniors.

Stamford IBC will stage it's Open Singles on October 1/2.
