LINCOLNSHIRE Indoor Bowls Association has outlawed the wearing of shorts - whether white or grey - in county league matches and county competitions.

The decision has been made by the LIBA management committee.

However, individual clubs - including Stamford IBC - who have already adopted the wearing of shorts in line with English Indoor Bowling Association regulations, can reserve the right of members to wear shorts in LIBA qualifying events.

Once members - male or female - have qualified for the latter stages of Lincs competitions they will not be allowed to wear shorts even if drawn at home.
