Dolby to defend county senior singles at Stamford

STAMFORD Indoor Bowls Club will host the Lincolnshire IBA Over 60 four-bowl singles qualifiers on Saturday February 18 - each over 18 ends. The competition is sponsored by Lincolnshire Co-op.

Four Stamford bowlers, including defending champion Martyn Dolby, have qualified to bid for four spots in the semi-finals to be played at Lincoln on Sunday, April 2.

Volunteer markers are required from the Stamford club.

FOUR Stamford bowlers will feature in the first round draw for the first Lincs Co-op County Sets singles at Grantham on Feb 26, starting at 12 noon. Two players will qualify for the semi-finals at Louth on Feb 26.

FIVE Stamford bowlers have qualified for the Lincs IBA county singles, sponsored by the Lincs Co-op to be played at Spalding on Sunday, February 12.

Sadly at least two will be knocked out in the first round as they have been drawn to play each other!
