MUY POPULAR en los sesenta y setenta, GEORGE KENNEDY nació el 18 de febrero de 1925 en NUEVA YORK. Su físico de hombre duro le encasilló en papeles violentos o de bonachón. El reconocimiento le llegó en 1967 con LA LEYENDA DEL INDOMABLE (S. Rosenberg), que le proporcionó el OSCAR al mejor secundario (foto inferior). Con los años setenta, llegaron las películas catastrofistas, en las que no podía faltar él, sobre todo en la serie de los aeropuertos. Coincidió con VICTORIA PRINCIPAL en TERREMOTO (M. Robson) y con LOIS CHILES en MUERTE EN EL NILO (J. Guillermin).

A finales de los 80 volvió a la TV, donde había sido EL CABALLERO DE AZUL, con el rol de CARTER McKAY en DALLAS, donde permaneció hasta el final de la serie. Asimismo, ha intervenido en los tres filmes de la paródica AGÁRRALO COMO PUEDAS (D. Zucker), al lado de su compañera en la serie de los EWING, PRISCILLA PRESLEY, con la que nunca llegó a compartir escena.

Desde su aparición en EL REGRESO DE J. R. y WAR OF THE EWINGS, GEORGE trabajó en contadas ocasiones: dobló a uno de los muñecos de PEQUEÑOS GUERREROS (J. Dante) y participó en dos películas: MEN IN WHITE y una secuela de DANIEL EL TRAVIESO para TV. Más delante participó en el serial THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS y sus películas más recientes se titulan LLAMANDO A LAS PUERTAS DEL CIELO, SIX DAYS IN PARADISE, MAD MAD WAGON PARTY, ANOTHER HAPPY DAY y EL JUGADOR...

El apreciado actor falleció el 28 de noviembre de 2016, a la edad de 91 años.

Very popular in the 60´s and 70´s, GEORGE KENNEDY was born on February 18, 1925 in N.Y.C. Her tough look typed him in roles of violent men or big-hearted gentlemen. The acknowledgement arrived in 1967 when co-starred in S. Rosenberg´s COOL HAND LUKE, which achieved him an OSCAR as best supporting actor (above photo). At the 70´s came the disaster movies which could not do without him, especially in the AIRPORT saga. He met VICTORIA PRINCIPAL in M. Robson's EARTHQUAKE and LOIS CHILES in J. Guillermin´s DEATH ON THE NILE.

In the late 80´s, he returned to TV, where he had been THE BLUE KNIGHT, playing CARTER McKAY on DALLAS (below photos) until the end of the series. Besides he co-starred in all 3 movies of spoof trilogy THE NAKED GUN, side by side with her DALLAS´s co-star PRISCILLA PRESLEY, with whom he never shared a scene or episode.

Since he appeared on J. R. RETURNS and WAR OF THE EWINGS, GEORGE hardly worked: he dubbed one of the toys on J. Dante´s SMALL SOLDIERS and participated in 2 movies: MEN IN WHITE and a TV sequel to DANNY THE MENACE. Later on he played on daytime soap THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and his most recent films are DON´T COME KNOCKING, SIX DAYS IN PARADISE, MAD MAD WAGON PARTY, ANOTHER HAPPY DAY and THE GAMBLER.

The highly regarded actor died on February 28th, 2016, at 91.

NACIDO EL 27 DE JULIO DE 1967 en LOS ANGELES, fue elegido para interpretar al hijo secreto de J.R.: JAMES RICHARD BEAUMONT, fruto de su relación con un primer amor. Su físico de culturista supuso de nuevo un aliciente para la audiencia de DALLAS, que le vio debutar en 1989. De escasa experiencia como actor, pero muy hábil con las artes marciales, SASHA fue el sustituto de JEAN-CLAUDE VAN DAMME en la saga cinematográfica de KICKBOXER. Su simpatía y su buena química tanto con KIMBERLY FOSTER como con CATHY PODEWELL, salvó su interpretación del desastre, en plena crisis de guionistas.

Posteriormente, SASHA se convirtió en el popular primo CODY de la serie PASO A PASO, de nuevo al lado de PATRICK DUFFY, durante cinco años. Aparte de esto, ha intervenido en la secuela de VACACIONES EN EL MAR y en varias películas de acción, como CLASS OF ´99 o GANGLAND. Antiguo modelo de CALVIN KLEIN (foto inferior izquierda), SASHA ha tenido problemas personales en los últimos años y se retiró de la interpretación durante una temporada. Sus últimos trabajos han sido la película THE FAILURES en 2003 y sendos episodios de URGENCIAS y POLICÍAS DE N.Y. en 2005. Hoy en día compagina el negocio de los ordenadores y el cuidado de su familia como padre soltero, con una carrera como actor que reanudó en 2014. Tiene 5 films previstos para estreno en 2015: FRONTLINES (para TV), THE CHEMIST, CITY OF BLOOD, EP / EXECUTIVE PROTECTION y EMPIRE OF THE DEAD.

LA INTÉRPRETE DE CALLY HARPER-EWING nació el 26 de enero de 1964 en Evanston, Illinois. Antigua animadora, se graduó en Drama y Baile en la Universidad de Santa Barbara. Obtuvo el papel de la joven esposa de J.R. después de que LARRY HAGMAN la viera en un episodio de la telecomedia LOS PROBLEMAS CRECEN.

Después de DALLAS (foto inferior izquierda), ha permanecido alejada de la interpretación, salvo papeles episódicos en EXPEDIENTE X, SE HA ESCRITO UN CRIMEN, WALKER (foto inferior derecha) y SENSACIÓN DE VIVIR, y el telefilme ANGEL TERRENAL. Por su papel en DALLAS fue nominada como mejor actriz por la revista SOAP OPERA DIGEST. Actualmente dedica su tiempo a la pintura (de acuarela, como su personaje) y a la lucha contra la Distrofia Muscular. Además, ha participado en el episodio LA OBRA MAESTRA DE JR de la nueva DALLAS y en un corto que se estrenó en 2014, UNMATCHED.

CALLY HARPER-EWING´s performer was born on January 26, 1964 in Evanston, Illinois. A former cheerleader, she graduated in Drama and Dance at the Santa Barbara University. She got the part of J.R.´s young bride after LARRY HAGMAN saw her on one episode of sitcom GROWING PAINS.

After DALLAS (above left photo), she has quit acting, except for episodic roles on X-FILES, MURDER, SHE WROTE; WALKER TEXAS RANGER (above right photo) and BEVERLY HILLS 90210, and the TVM EARTH ANGEL. For her role on DALLAS she was nominee as best actress by the SOAP OPERA DIGEST´s readers. Currently she devotes herself to painting (water color, just like her character) and fighting against Muscular Dystrophy. Besides, she has participated in the episode JR´S MASTERPIECE of TNT´s DALLAS and a 2014 short titled UNMATCHED.

EL CASO DE PRISCILLA PRESLEY difiere bastante de los de sus antecesoras en el papel de JENNA. Su entrada en DALLAS se produjo durante la temporada 1983-4, y supuso una intento de elevar el nivel de popularidad de la serie, ya que la tercera JENNA gozaba de considerable fama (y fortuna) aún antes de dedicarse al negocio del espectáculo. Nacida el 16 de junio de 1945, adoptó el apellido de su padrastro, BEAULIEU, para su aparición en DALLAS. A los 17 años había contraído matrimonio con el célebre cantante ELVIS PRESLEY. Durante seis años mantuvieron la apariencia de una familia perfecta, junto a su hija LISA MARIE. Pero, en 1973, el divorcio de la pareja rompió la imagen en mil pedazos y PRISCILLA sufrió el rechazo de los fans de ELVIS, aunque una pensión millonaria le sirvió de consolación.

El fallecimiento del Rey del Rock en 1977 la devolvió al primer plano de la actualidad y, tras presentar el programa ESOS ASOMBROSOS ANIMALES, inició una supuesta carrera de actriz que, sin los cinco años de DALLAS, se hubiera quedado en nada. A lo largo de la última década, intervino en series populares como MELROSE PLACE, LOCA ALCALDÍA y SALVADOS POR UN ÁNGEL, así como en la trilogía de AGÁRRALO COMO PUEDAS en cine. Actualmente, forma parte del Consejo de Dirección de la M-G-M, puesto que compagina con algunos telefilmes y el control de la herencia de ELVIS. Ha producido asimismo la película ROAD TO GRACELAND (D. Winkler). En 2014 se unió al elenco de la "panto" sobre Blancanieves que se representó en Manchester.

PRISCILLA PRESLEY´s case is quite different from the others. Her entrance on DALLAS took place on Season 1983-4, and meant to be an attempt to rise the show´s popularity, since JENNA #3 was already enjoying a considerable fame (and fortune) even before to get into show business. Born on June 16, 1945, adopted her stepfather´s surname BEAULIEU for her credits on DALLAS (below photos). At 17 she married rock & roll celebrity ELVIS PRESLEY. They kept the perfect family front up for 6 years, with daughter LISA MARIE. But in 1973, their divorce shattered the image and PRISCILLA suffered the rejection of ELVIS´ fanbase, though a millionaire alimony was comforting enough.

The R & R´s King decease in 1977 brought her back to the front pages and, after co-hosting the show THOSE AMAZING ANIMALS, she began a presumed acting career that, without the 5-year-stint on DALLAS (above photos), would have equalled nothing. In the 90´s she has guest-starred on such popular shows like MELROSE PLACE, SPIN CITY and TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL, as well as in THE NAKED GUN Trilogy in big-screen. Currently, she is a member of the Managing Board of MGM, charge she alternates with a few telefilms and the control of ELVIS´s heritage. She has also produced the movie D. Winkler´s FINDING GRACELAND. In December 2014 she joined the crew of the Snow White Panto in Manchester.

NORMAN RAMBO NACIÓ EN DELANO, California, el 13 de noviembre de 1941. Su papel de JACK EWING en DALLAS venía a ocupar el vacío que iba a dejar poco después la “muerte” de BOBBY. RAMBO ya había aparecido en pequeños papeles en filmes como RICAS Y FAMOSAS (G. Cukor) y había protagonizado MUÑECAS DE PAPEL junto a MORGAN FAIRCHILD.

Durante la ausencia de PATRICK DUFFY hizo el papel del astuto primo de los EWING y pretendiente de dos de las mujeres del reparto: PRISCILLA PRESLEY y MERETE VAN KAMP. Pero la licencia del sueño cambió los planes y pronto se prescindió de él, no sin antes introducir a su ex esposa APRIL STEVENS, irónicamente, futura segunda mujer de BOBBY.

Posteriormente, DACK intervino en 3 películas para la pantalla grande y en episodios sueltos de varias series. En 1991 apareció en el serial diurno ANOTHER WORLD, interpretando a GRANT HARRISON. El actor falleció de sida el 21 de marzo de 1994 en LOS ANGELES.

DACK RAMBO was born in DELANO, California, on November 13, 1941. His role as JACK EWING on DALLAS (below photos) sort of fulfilled the void that would be then left by BOBBY´s “death”. RAMBO had already made bit parts in movies like G. Cukor´s RICH AND FAMOUS and had co-starred in PAPER DOLLS with MORGAN FAIRCHILD.

During PATRICK DUFFY´s absence (Season 8), he played the EWING´ sly cousin who courted 2 of the female members of the cast: PRISCILLA PRESLEY and MERETE VAN KAMP. But the Dream Solution changed the plans for him and he was soon written off, not without the previous introduction of his ex wife APRIL STEVENS, the future Mrs. BOBBY EWING, ironically.

Later, DACK starred in 3 movies for the big screen and guest-starred in a few series. In 1991 he appeared as GRAN HARRISON in the daytime soap ANOTHER WORLD. The actor died of aids on March 21, 1994 in LOS ANGELES.

NACIDA DONNA BELLE MULLENGER el 27 de enero de 1921 en DENISON, Iowa, esta pelirroja actriz destacó en pequeños papeles en títulos como EL RETRATO DE DORIAN GRAY (A. Lewin, foto inferior izquierda), o LA ÚLTIMA VEZ QUE VI PARÍS (R. Brooks), hasta que obtuvo el OSCAR a la mejor secundaria por su rol de prostituta en DE AQUÍ A LA ETERNIDAD (F. Zinnemann, foto inferior derecha).

Su éxito se prolongó en TV con THE DONNA REED SHOW y, a mediados de los ochenta, cometió el error de sustituir a BARBARA BEL GEDDES como ELLIE. No sólo recibió una respuesta negativa del público, sino que, después de 25 episodios, se rescindió su contrato, que acababa de prorrogarse por dos años más. El conflicto se resolvió en los tribunales y DONNA cobró igualmente su salario. Pero una grave enfermedad, unida a una depresión, provocó la muerte de DONNA el 14 de enero de 1986.

Her success was expanded on TV with THE DONNA REED SHOW and, at mid-80´s, she made the mistake of agreeing to replace BARBARA BEL GEDDES as MISS ELLIE (above right photo, in her last DALLAS scene). She did not only got a negative response from the audiences but also, after 25 episodes, her contract was cancelled, when it had been re-signed for 2 more years. The conflict was solved out at the court and DONNA equally got her salary paid. But a serious illness, worsened by a depression, caused DONNA´s death on January 14, 1986.

LA INTÉRPRETE DE APRIL STEVENS, ex esposa de JACK EWING, nació en MINNESOTA el 12 de diciembre de 1958. Esta modelo convertida en actriz inició su carrera en 1984, con papeles en películas de serie B y en series de corta duración, como OUR FAMILY HONOR, producida por LEONARD KATZMAN. Fue éste quien la contrató la temporada siguiente para interpretar el rol de APRIL. Este experimentó una considerable evolución a lo largo de los cuatro años que permaneció en la serie. Empezó como una ambiciosa oportunista que se convierte en millonaria de la noche a la mañana, terminando encaprichada del menor de los EWING. Pero su relación con BOBBY tardó mucho tiempo en desarrollarse, pues nadie sabía a ciencia cierta si VICTORIA PRINCIPAL acabaría accediendo a volver a la serie.

Finalmente, la pareja se casó y, en plena luna de miel en PARÍS, APRIL fue eliminada de escena, ya que, en 1990, SHEREE había decidido dedicarse a su familia durante un par de años. Posteriormente volvió a TV como la ayudante del fiscal, ALEX CAHILL, en la serie WALKER, también rodada en DALLAS, y escrita y producida por LEONARD KAZTMAN. La serie terminó en 2001 después de ocho años de emisión.

SHEREE intervino además en la “spin off” de WALKER, SONS OF THUNDER, de corta vida. En 2008, fue invitada a la celebración del 30º aniversario de DALLAS en el rancho SOUTHFORK (foto inferior). Actualmente, compagina las labores de esposa y madre en la vida real con la promoción de productos de BELLEZA y su carrera como actriz: ha participado en la ciberserie PINK y en la serie LEAVING BLISS. Sus tres últimos films, JAIL WAGON, WHEN THE STORM GOD RIDES y THE SILK AND THE GUN, también están ambientados en el lejano Oeste.

The actress who played APRIL STEVENS, JACK EWING´s ex wife and BOBBY´s future wife, was born in MINNESOTA on December 12, 1958. This model turned into actress began her film career in 1984 with B-movies and brief series like OUR FAMILY HONOR, produced by LEONARD KATZMAN. He was the one who hired her to play APRIL in the next season of DALLAS. Her role went through a deep evolution through the 4 years she remained in the show. She started off as a greedy golddigger who becomes an overnight millionaire, and eventually gets infatuated by the youngest EWING brother. But her relationship with BOBBY developed very slowly since nobody really knew for sure if VICTORIA PRINCIPAL would return to the series.

Finally the couple got married and, in the middle of their PARIS honeymoon, APRIL was kidnapped and murdered. In 1990, SHEREE decided to devote herself to her family for a couple of years and then went back to TV as the D.A.´s assistant ALEX CAHILL on the show WALKER TEXAS RANGER, also shot in DALLAS and written and produced by LEONARD KAZTMAN. The series ended in 2001 after an 8-year running.

SHEREE guest-starred on WALKER TEXAS RANGER´s brief spin-off too, SONS OF THUNDER. In 2008, she was invited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of DALLAS at SOUTHFORK Ranch (above photo). Currently she alternates her wife and mother duties with the promotion of beauty products and her acting career: she played in the web-series PINK and the show LEAVING BLISS. Her two latest films, JAIL WAGON, WHEN THE STORM GOD RIDES and THE SILK AND THE GUN, are also set up in the Far West.
