J.R. busca nuevas oficinas y prepara su retorno a los negocios con su nueva empresa, Industrias J.R.E., y una segura SUE ELLEN como aliada. APRIL conoce al sucesor de JEREMY en la WESTSTAR OIL, WILSON CRYDER, que le dice: "Creemos que J.R. Ewing dejará de ser una amenaza para la Weststar cuando esté muerto."

PAMELA is taken to the hospital with third-degree burns and serious injuries from the car crash. J.R. embarks on building a new company, J.R.E. Industries, and is looking for new offices with a self-assured SUE ELLEN as his ally. APRIL meets WILSON CRYDER, JEREMY WENDELL's executive assistant, who says: "We think that J.R. Ewing will stop being a menace for Weststar when he´s dead."

"Si ella muere, el pequeño CHRISTOPHER se lo lleva todo...bueno, supongo que BOBBY y yo tendremos que hacernos amigos..." KATHERINE visita a PAM en el hospital, susurrándole: "Sigue durmiendo, hermanita, sigue durmiendo"...

CLIFF meets an old drunk at a bar, DANDY DANDRIDGE, who looks very much like DIGGER. SUE ELLEN fires VALENTINE and hires NICHOLAS PEARCE, an investment consultant. MISS ELLIE asks RAY for help with CLAYTON, J.R. reads PAM´s testament:

"If PAM dies, Little CHRISTOPHER gets it all....well, I guess BOBBY and I are going to have to get closer!!!" KATHERINE visits her sister at the hospital, and whispers to her: "Sleep on, little sister, sleep on..."

KATHERINE has returned to DALLAS and is strongly rejected by BOBBY. CHRISTOPHER runs away from Southfork to Dallas Memorial Hospital, obsessed with seeing his mum. J.R. meets the son of a former associate, CASEY DENAULT. Finally, he hangs up JOCK´s portrait on the office wall of his new company...

BOBBY teme que la operación de cirugía produzca un efecto negativo en su relación con PAM. NICK aconseja a SUE ELLEN que expanda "Lencería Valentine" y busquen a una nueva chica VALENTINE. J.R. investiga los orígenes de CHRISTOPHER y, cuando se encuentra con WILSON, le dice:

"Acaba de unirse al grupo...de gente que vive para lamentar haberse cruzado con J.R. Ewing." BOBBY descubre que PAM ha desaparecido del hospital.

BOBBY is afraid that the plastic surgery operation makes a negative effect on his relationship with PAM. NICK urges SUE ELLEN to expand Valentine's Lingerie and find a new Valentine Girl. J.R. investigates CHRIS´s origins and, when meets WILSON by chance, he tells him:

"You´ve just joined the crowd...of people who live to regret crossing J.R. Ewing." BOBBY is shocked to discover that PAM has disappeared from the hospital.

Cliff suspects that KATHERINE might be behind PAM´s disappearance. The first disagreements between SUE ELLEN and NICK show up. PAM let a farewell letter for Bobby and Christopher, in which she explains that left the town in order to avoid their suffering, after seeing her new look.

BOBBY reacts violently when PAM asks him for a divorce in her letter, but he recovers for his son´s sake, who is going through his own crisis after knowing that he´s adopted. DANDY proposes CLIFF a shady business and J.R. uses SERENA´s services again to find out information on WILSON CRYDER.

"Si sale adelante, bueno, pero sí no, que se muera. Nunca debió de haberse casado con mi madre en primer lugar." RAY teme que JENNA le haya rechazado porque aún esté enamorada de BOBBY y J.R. sólo encuentra un punto débil en CRYDER: su esposa KIMBERLY...

PAM files divorce from BOBBY, who also gets the boy´s custody and powers for her share of WENTWORTH. CLAYTON´s heart attack leads to an operation. Meanwhile, J.R. tells his friend McSWEEN:

"If he does, he does; if he doesn't, he dies! Never should've married my momma in the first place!" RAY is afraid that JENNA had rejected him because she might still love BOBBY and J.R. only finds a weakness in CRYDER: his wife KIMBERLY.

BOBBY explains divorce to CHRIS and gets a surprise reaction from him. J.R. meets KIMBERLY CRYDER. JENNA is worried that RAY will get back with DONNA. RAY appears to be free after DONNA announces her marriage to ANDREW. BOBBY aks the family to regard PAM "a closed subject" and JENNA accepts RAY's proposal.

La intromisión de LISA levanta sospechas en BOBBY, que le prohibe volver a ver a CHRIS. Por fin, J.R. y KIMBERLY se hacen amantes, no antes de que ella le diga:

"Prácticamente eres una leyenda entre las mujeres de Dallas..."

BOBBY has an unexpected encounter with a newly divorced friend TAMMY and spends the night with her. CLIFF decides to stop the exploration works on DANDY´s field. LISA's interference arises BOBBY´s suspicions and makes him forbid her to see CHRIS again. At last, J.R. and KIMBERLY become lovers, after KIMBERLY tells him:

"You're practically a legend amongst the woman of Dallas."

SUE ELLEN found out by chance that J.R. is having an affair with KIMBERLY when she sees them kissing in an elevator, and she decides to get even on him by using NICK. J.R. knows that KIMBERLY´s father is a major shareholder of WESTSTAR and pushes APRIL to buy its stock, but she is more interested in NICK´s mysterious past...

RAY wants BOBBY to be his best man at the wedding with JENNA. Prior to the ceremony, CHRISTOPHER discovers thru CHARLIE that Baby LUCAS is actually his stepbrother. SUE ELLEN decides to face KIMBERLY at the barbecue. DANDY pulls a gun on CLIFF at the Ewing event and LISA sues BOBBY for CHRIS´s custody.

J.R. demands an "act of faith" from KIMBERLY before he leaves SUE ELLEN and marries her. At the same time, he schemes to stop the construction of CLIFF´s gas pipeline. RAY throws out RANDY of the stables after finding him with CHARLIE, and JENNA reveals her true feelings to BOBBY: she still loves him.

NICK decides to limit his relationship with SUE ELLEN to business only. Meanwhile, KIMBERLY gets serious about divorcing WILSON and J.R. moves his strings behind LISA´s suit since he intends to accuse BOBBY of buying the baby to her brother. Finally, SUE ELLEN shows up at NICK´s and he cancels his poker party off...

JENNA descubre las intrigas de CHARLIE y CLIFF empieza a salir con LISA, cayendo en la trampa de J.R. Cuando BOBBY es chantajeado por su hermano, se lanza sobre él para matarle:

"Eres un mal nacido, no mereces vivir..."

J.R. has allied with LISA in order to gain BOBBY´s support. APRIL's detective gets scared of the Pearce/Lombardi mob connection. JENNA discovers CHARLIE´s shenanigans and CLIFF begins to date LISA, thus falling into J.R.´s trap. When BOBBY is blackmailed by his brother, he is determined to get him and kill him:

"You son of a bitch! You don't deserve to live !"

The family must separate J.R. and BOBBY when the latter tries to get him drown in the pool. BOBBY vows to get EWING OIL name back for himself. APRIL gets to know that NICK and his family went to the Witness Protection Program, and KIMBERLY gives J.R. an ultimatum for him to divorce...

J.R. and KIMBERLY plot to have SUE ELLEN see them together in a hotel bed, but its effect is totally the opposite, and SUE ELLEN moves back to her room at Southfork. ELLIE sees his friend LAUREL kissing CLAYTON at a restaurant and BOBBY calls DONNA´s stepson DAVE CULVER for help.

SUE ELLEN se entera de que J.R. chantajea a CLIFF y BOBBY conoce en Washington a la ayudante de ANDREW, KAY LLOYD. APRIL confiesa a BOBBY su breve relación con J.R., para evitar el chantaje de este. J.R. visita a STYLES, que le dice:

"Muchos hombres han intentado pisotearme. Me encantaría enseñarle sus tumbas" - A lo que responde J.R.: "Sí, bueno. Apuesto a que ninguno de ellos se llamaba J.R. EWING..."

ELLIE gets drunk after seeing CLAYTON with LAUREL again. SUE ELLEN finds out that J.R. is blackmailing CLIFF, and BOBBY meets in Washington ANDREW´s assistant KAY LLOYD. APRIL tells BOBBY that she briefly slept with J.R. and that he's blackmailing her over it. J.R visits STYLES, who says to him:

"Lots of men have tried to run roughshod over me. I'd be happy to show you their tombstones" - to which J.R. answers: "Yeah, well I'll bet none of those men were named J.R. EWING..."

KIMBERLY seeks for CLIFF´s support in her plan against J.R. RAY spends the night with CONNIE, unaware that she is an unstable woman. Senator O'DELL agrees to vote for BOBBY for a price. SUE ELLEN gets a letter from NICK. J.R. rebuffs Kimberly's offer and vows to take Weststar away from her father.

RAY descubre alarmado que su aventura con CONNIE puede tener peligrosas consecuencias. BOBBY cede al chantaje de O´DELL para poder recuperar el nombre de la EWING OIL. J.R. ofrece a LAUREL la oportunidad de liberar a CLAYTON: si se acuesta con él, dará a conocer la prueba que demuestra su inocencia. Finalmente, CLAYTON es puesto en libertad...y J.R. le dice a su madre:

"No tienes ni idea de lo que ha significado para mí sacarle de la cárcel."

RAY is shocked to discover that his affair with CONNIE may lead to dangerous consequences. BOBBY strikes a deal with O´DELL to get the Ewing Oil name back. J.R. offers LAUREL the chance to set free CLAYTON: if she sleeps with him, he will deliver the police the proof of his innocence. Finally, CLAYTON is released...and J.R. says to his mother:

"You have no idea what getting CLAYTON off the hook meant to me..."

"Nunca olvidaré esto, SUE ELLEN" "Espero que no" - responde ella.

KIMBERLY and SUE ELLEN join forces to stop J.R. take over WESTSTAR. KIMBERLY´s father Dr. STYLES has just died and she blames J.R. for it. LAUREL tells CLAYTON the truth about the latter´s deliverance. KIMBERLY proposes JEREMY as Chairman instead of a defeated J.R.

"I'll never forget this, SUE ELLEN" "I certainly hope not" - she answers.

BOBBY and KAY must put an end to their affair while CLIFF offers JEREMY his gas field. RAY gets a call from JENNA, who is returning from EUROPE, but CONNIE is out of control...

"J.R. se ha marchado de Southfork...Qué mejor día para volver a casa." Durante una discusion, J.R. le dice a su hermano: "BOBBY, tú no sabes luchas. Sólo dejas que todo el mundo te pise. Soy el único Ewing verdadero que mi padre tuvo..."

JENNA returns home to find an empty house and a bloody trail. ELLIE decides to share the ranch ownership with CLAYTON, which pushes J.R. out of SOUTHFORK. LUCY returns to Southfork unexpectedly:

"J.R. moved out of Southfork! What a great day to move back home". During an argument, J.R. tells his brother: "BOBBY, you don't fight. You just lie down and let everybody roll all over you. I'm the only real Ewing my Daddy ever had."

J.R. declara la guerra a SUE ELLEN y NICK por la custodia de JOHN ROSS. Cuando descubre que LUCY ha vuelto, no duda en tratarla como antes, pero ella responde:

"Viniendo de un experto en golfas, me tomaré eso como un cumplido." JENNA decide darle una 2ª oportunidad a RAY, lejos de Southfork. CLIFF descubre que JORDAN ha visto a PAM en una fiesta, usando el apellido de su tía. BOBBY prefiere que sea ella quien dé el primer paso, pero CLIFF decide ir a buscarla. En la última escena, SUE ELLEN y NICK irrumpen en el apartamento de J.R. exigiendo saber el paradero del niño:

"¿Dónde está mi hijo, desgraciado?" - le grita. J.R. dice entonces: "Dile a tu gigolo que se marche, cariño." J.R. saca una pistola, NICK se enzarza con él en una pelea y, cuando NICK cae por el balcón, SUE ELLEN dispara 3 veces contra J.R., y luego llama a la policía para denunciar un doble asesinato...

.R. declares war to SUE ELLEN and NICK for JOHN ROSS´ custody. When he finds out that LUCY is back, he doesn´t hesitate to treat her as he used to, but she strikes back:

"Coming from an expert on tramps, I take that as a compliment."

JENNA decides to give RAY another chance and leave Dallas together. JORDAN LEE tells CLIFF that he saw PAM at a party, using her aunt´s surname. BOBBY prefers PAM to give the first step, but CLIFF decides to go for her. At the last scene, SUE ELLEN and NICK break into J.R.'s apartment:

"Where is my son, you bastard?" - she shouts at him. J.R. says then: "Call off your gigolo, honey." J.R. pulls out a gun, NICK starts a fight with J.R. and, when NICK falls off the balcony, SUE ELLEN fires three shots at J.R. and then calls the police to report a double murder...
