Real-time crossovers with "Knots Landing" ended when Bobby´death was considered a dream, at the beginning of Dallas´ninth Season. One of Val´s twins had been named Bobby after him and Gary went through a hard time recovering from the depression caused by his younger brother's killing.

Aside from the above mentioned, there also were crossover scenes in Part 1 of "No More, Mr. Nice Guy" (Gary talks to Miss Ellie and Lucy in front of Val), Part 2 (with Gary, Lucy, Miss Ellie, Jock, Ray, Sue Ellen and J.R.), Part 2 of "End of the Road" (scenes with Lucy, Miss Ellie, Bobby, J.R., Sue Ellen, Gary & Val, before and after the wedding ceremony), "The Split" (Gary & Val), "Five Dollars a Barrel" and "Jock´s Will" (Gary with the whole family), and "The Family Ewing" (scenes with Gary, Miss Ellie, Clayton, J.R., Ray, Donna, Jenna and the episode-ending funeral). TNT Dallas featured an additional crossover arc with Gary and a brief appearance by Val.
