164 - if at first you don't succeed

October 12, 1984: Katherine Wentworth sneaked into Bobby´s hospital room with a poison syringe in order to kill him off, because "if I can´t have him, nobody can!". After two great years of apparent sweetness, hidden hatred toward Cliff and scheming with J.R. against her sister Pam, Katherine exited the show in the following episode. She was arrested and threatened Cliff before running away from Dallas. As you all must know, Katherine´s next appearance was right after Jenna´s release from jail, reading the news in the paper. After that, she tried to drive her car over Pam but "killed" Bobby instead...and she died too, as part of Pam´s nightmare. But actress Morgan Brittany had left the show after Katherine's runaway to star in the "Glitter" series and briefly returned, although she was expecting her first baby and it was quite noticeable! In this episode, we could also met by first time Cliff´s new girlfriend, Mandy Winger, who would eventually become J.R.´s most stable lover during almost 3 seasons.

18 de octubre de 1987 (en Cataluña): Katherine se introducía en la habitación de hospital de Bobby con una inyección letal para matarle, ya que "si no puede ser para mí, no será para nadie.." Tras dos magníficos años aparentando dulzura, escondiendo su odio hacia Cliff y maquinando con J.R. contra su hermana Pam, Katherine dejaba la serie en el episodio siguiente, después de ser arrestada y amenazar a Cliff, antes de huir de Dallas. Como debéis saber todos, la siguiente aparición de Katherine fue justo cuando leía la noticia de la liberación de Jenna en el periódico. Poco después, intentaba atropellar a Pam pero "asesinó" a Bobby en su lugar...y moría también ella, aunque todo era parte de una pesadilla de Pam. Pero la actriz Morgan Brittany se había marchado de la serie tras la huida de Katherine para protagonizar la serie "Glitter", y regresó brevemente, aunque su primer embarazo estaba muy avanzado...En este episodio, también pudimos conocer a la nueva novia de Cliff, Mandy Winger, que acabaría siendo la amante más duradera de J.R. durante casi 3 temporadas.
