114 - post nuptial

December 3, 1982: J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing said "I do" for the second time at a (literally) stormy ceremony in the Southfork patio. She was sure that J.R. had "changed" and he was sure that he was going to be the same old J.R. (i.e., he´d keep on philandering...). After trying to sleep with his associate Holly Harwood earlier in the season, he eventually succeeded later on, and also went to bed with his whore-with-a-golden-heart Serena (Stephanie Blackmore). Poor Sue Ellen had only made goo-goo eyes to her ex Dusty Farlow before knowing he had married...somebody else. Also in this episode, belonging to the excellent Season 5, Afton almost walked out on Cliff after being ridiculized by him at the wedding; Bobby learnt through Mr. Eugene (E.J. Andre) that J.R. might be doing business with Cuba no less; Lucy rebuffed one of the von Tripp kids from "The Sound of Music" (Nicholas Hammond), and eventually, J.R. and Sue Ellen came home, to find a fierce Bobby vowing he´d do anything to stop him from ruining Ewing Oil. Wow. And there also was the most famous, deliciously choreographed fight in "Dallas"´ history, which, of course, ended with most men in the pool.

10 de marzo de 1985 (en Cataluña): J.R. y Sue Ellen Ewing volvían a decir "sí, quiero" en una tormentosa ceremonia (literalmente, pues se oían los truenos...) celebrada en el patio de Southfork. Ella estaba convencida de que J.R. había "cambiado" y él, que iba a seguir siendo el de siempre (es decir, que no dejaría de serle infiel...). Tras intentar seducir a su asociada Holly Harwood en un episodio anterior, acabaría llevándosela "al pajar" más adelante, y también se acostaría con su prostituta con corazón de oro Serena. La pobre Sue Ellen sólo había mirado con ojos de adolescente a su ex Dusty Farlow, antes de saber que él acababa de casarse...con otra. En el mismo episodio, perteneciente a la genial quinta temporada, Afton estaba a punto de plantar a Cliff tras ser humillada por él en la boda; Bobby averiguaba a través de Mr. Eugene (E.J. Andre) que J.R. tal vez hacía negocios con Cuba nada menos...; Lucy rechazaba a uno de los chicos de la familia de "Sonrisas y lágrimas" (Nicholas Hammond), y, para terminar, J.R. y Sue Ellen volvían a casa y se encontraban con un fiero Bobby, que aseguraba estar dispuesto a hacer lo que fuera para evitar que J.R. arruinara la Ewing Oil. Vaya vaya...Ah, y también tuvimos la pelea más famosa y mejor coreografiada de "Dallas", la cual, por supuesto, acabó con casi todos los hombres en la piscina.
