BOBBY EWING

(PATRICK DUFFY)

ROBERT JAMES EWING:

Hijo menor de JOCK y ELLIE, casado con PAMELA durante 5 años, adoptaron a CHRISTOPHER, sobrino de SUE ELLEN. El matrimonio siempre permaneció bajo presiones, sobre todo por parte de J.R., que veía en él a un rival frente a su padre y en PAM una espía de su enemigo CLIFF.

Su carácter es opuesto al de J.R.: honrado, idealista y algo violento en ocasiones, llevó una vida de playboy hasta que conoció a PAMELA. Su relación con ella estaría basada en la sinceridad y en una total compenetración. Dicha honestidad le convirtió en un hombre respetado por todos, provocando los celos de su hermano mayor.

Ha trabajado en la EWING OIL, en construcción y en política, alcanzando el puesto de Senador. Su participación en la serie como antagonista de J.R. finalizó temporalmente en la 7ª etapa. Al convertirse su muerte en una pesadilla de PAM, BOBBY regresó a la vida de su familia, perdiendo luego tanto a su 1ª esposa como a APRIL, la 2ª, esta en un trágico atentado en París. Igual que J.R., reapareció en las 2 películas posteriores al fin de DALLAS.

Youngest son of JOCK and MISS ELLIE, married to PAMELA during 5 years, they adopted CHRISTOPHER, SUE ELLEN´s nephew. Their marriage always was under pressure, especially from J.R.´s part, who saw him as a rival in front of his daddy and PAM as a spy for his enemy CLIFF.

His nature is opposite to J.R.´s: honest, idealistic and sometimes violent, he used to womanize until he met PAMELA. Their relationship was based on sincerity and total understanding. His honesty made him a very respected man, which caused his oldest brother´s jealousy.

He has worked for EWING OIL, in construction business and in politics, reaching the Senador charge. His participation in the show as J.R.´s antagonist ended temporarily in Season 7. When his death became a nightmare of PAM´s, BOBBY returned to his family´s life, and afterwards lost both his first and his second wife, APRIL, the latter in a tragic event in Paris. As did J.R., he re-appeared in both post-DALLAS TVM´s .

PAMELA EWING

(VICTORIA PRINCIPAL & MARGARET MICHAELS)

PAMELA BARNES EWING:

Mujer de BOBBY y presunta hija del eterno rival de JOCK EWING, DIGGER BARNES, y REBECCA, su esposa. Sus relaciones con los EWING llegaron a ser muy cordiales, a pesar de que, al principio, nadie la aceptaba.Sincera y afectuosa, gracias a su fuerte personalidad, consiguió resistir los ataques de J.R., siempre dispuesto a alejarla de su marido.

Empleada en unos grandes almacenes, dirigiendo un gimnasio de última moda o trabajando de relaciones públicas junto a su hermano, supo canalizar sus energías con estas ocupaciones. El descubrimiento de sus verdaderos orígenes como hija ilegítima y la imposibilidad de ser madre la llevaron a pasar una temporada en un hospital psiquiátrico. Su excesiva confianza en las personas que la rodean le ha proporcionado más de un desengaño.

Tras un accidente de coche que la dejó desfigurada, PAM desapareció de la vida de sus seres queridos para evitarles sufrimiento, pues le quedaban pocos meses de vida. En su última escena, este personaje fue interpretado por la actriz MARGARET MICHAELS.

BOBBY´s wife and supposed daughter of JOCK EWING´s eternal rival, DIGGER BARNES, and his wife REBECCA. She became very close to the EWINGS though nobody accepted her at first. True and warm, her strong personality allowed her to resist J.R.´s attacks, who always was ready to make her apart from her husband.

Employed in a store, running her own aerobics gym or working in his brother´s oil company, she used to channel her energies through these jobs. Discovering her real roots as an illegitimate dauhter and not being able to birth a child led her to undergo a treatment in a mental hospital. Her overconfidence in people around her caused her disappointments once in awhile.

After a car accident left her desfigured, PAM vanished from her loved ones´ life to avoid them suffering, since she had few months left to live. In her last scene, this character was played by actress MARGARET MICHAELS.
