195 - resurrection

October 11, 1985: Pam Ewing found, at the patio of her mansion, her very dead fiancé Mark Graison (John Beck). She had been pressured by J.R. to make quick decisions about Ewing Oil and was on the edge of a nervous breakdown, but Mark´s return to her life was a (quite convenient) solution to her many doubts. Aside from another way to show the producers´ sexist representation of women (always depending on her men´s strenght), this new "resurrection" (neither the first one nor the last one on "Dallas") brought back one of the best supporting characters and actors of the show, killed off at the end of Season 6. But this episode belonged to the infamous Dream Season, therefore Mark´s return and all the other storylines were reset when Pam found another dead hubby, Bobby, in her shower, at the very end of that Eighth Season.

16 de mayo de 1988 (en Cataluña): Pam Ewing encontraba, en la terraza de su mansión, a su muy difunto prometido Mark Graison (John Beck). Pam había soportado la presión de J.R. para que tomase decisiones rápidas sobre la Ewing Oil y ya estaba al borde un ataque de nervios, pero el regreso de Mark a su vida resultó una solución (bastante conveniente) a sus muchas dudas. Además de otra demostración por parte de los productores de su imagen machista de las mujeres (siempre dependientes de la fuerza de sus hombres...), esta nueva "resurrección" (que no fue la primera ni la última en "Dallas") recuperó a uno de los mejores personajes y actores secundarios de la serie, eliminado al final de la 6ª temporada. Pero este episodio pertenecía a la famosa Etapa-Sueño y por lo tanto, el retorno de Mark y todas las demás tramas se resetearon cuando Pam encontró a otro de sus maridos muertos, Bobby, en la ducha, en el mismo final de esa 8ª temporada.
