• Rehearsal Schedule for the week:

• Monday - Guard Sectional (3-5); Percussion Sectional (5-8)

• Tuesday - Full Band (3-5); Last hornline sectionals for the season (5-6)

• Thursday - Full Band (3-5)

• Friday - FB @ Greenfield - The band will NOT travel to this game!

• Saturday - Bandmasters Championship @ Memphis - Students must be in seats at 11 for rehearsal.

• Announcements:

• Thanks to everyone who traveled to South Fulton on Friday or to South Gibson last nigh. The kids had a terrific performance last night! Several of the judges commented on our parent support. Thanks for your commitment to these students to show up and cheer for them every opportunity that you are available!

• Yankee Candle ORDERS + MONEY ARE DUE TOMORROW! Each student was asked to sell at least 5 items or get $30 in donations! Orders should be in before Thanksgiving.

• Band Booster Meeting TOMORROW NIGHT @ 7:00 pm in the band room! Come be a part of this great parent organization!

• Contest this Saturday at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis! Students must be in seats at 11 for rehearsal. There are 31 bands in competition this Saturday. The contest begins at 12:45 and awards are not until 10:15. The boosters will feed the kids after they perform (chili pie, hot dog, or chili dog). Concessions are pretty expensive at the stadium so prepare accordingly. See the attached itinerary for exact details of the day. Ride home forms are due no later than Friday @ 3:00 pm! This is a great venue for the students to perform in. I hope many of you will make the trip down to help cheer these kids on!

• Room Money for State is due NEXT MONDAY! See Ms. Sharon's email from last week as to the amount. We must have this amount NEXT MONDAY so that we are able to pay the hotel. Remember this amount is for 2 nights at state so it's really a reasonable price.

• Upcoming Dates:

• Monday, October 27th - Regular guard and percussion sectionals

• Tuesday, October 28th - Full Band (6-9) in the stadium

• Wednesday, October 29th - Full Band (3-5)

• Thursday, October 30th - Football vs. Lake County (Home - Senior Night) @ 7:00. Students will have to be dressed and ready at5:30 due to senior night activities beginning at 6:30. We will wear full uniform and make-up for this show.

• Friday, October 31st - Full Band (1:30-4:00); Depart for State (~4:30-5:00)

• Saturday, November 1st - DIVISION I STATE BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS - Riverdale HS - Murfreesboro. We hope all of you are planning to attend this event. This is what we work towards each year and hope the students have their best performance of the year here!

• Sunday, November 2nd - Return home from state!
