Monday - percussion 5-7 full ensemble
Tuesday - Low Brass Ens. 3:00-3:45
We have a ton of music we are playing this semester, and it is not easy music. I encourage you to take the time to practice at home and make yourself better. Parents, please make sure your student is practicing their concert music. 15-30 minutes a night is what is needed. We look to have an exciting concert but we need everyone to do their work outside of class. Practice is band’s homework, just like any other class. It should be 60% practice and 40% rehearsal.
Chair challenge papers have been posted at the front of the class. Take a step outside of your comfort zone and challenge the person ahead of you. We all like competition season, this is a way for us to continue that
As we are preparing for the end of the year and gearing up for summer/marching season we need to address debt. Right now we are sitting with around $8,200 in owed band fees. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND JUNE REHEARSALS UNLESS YOU ARE PAID IN FULL BY THE FIRST JUNE REHEARSAL!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS AT THIS POINT!!! Whenever you get your handbook and papers to be signed and brought back there is a payment plan on there. WE WILL BE FOLLOWING THIS STRICTLY THIS YEAR! If you are delinquent when a performance happens you will not be allowed to perform. We have to do better about fees.

Our Next pageant is April 13th. I will get a count of the students who should work that in the coming weeks.

We are going to limit this to current band students as to not over fill our emails for announcements and stop getting kick back emails saying the email doesn't exist.
