Rehearsal Schedule for the week:
Monday-NO SCHOOL! NO REHEARSALS!
Tuesday-Full Band (3-5); Hornline, Guard, and Percussion Sectionals (5-6)
Thursday-Full Band (3-5)
Friday-FB vs. South Fulton (7:30 pm)- 8th grade night- We will meet at 6 p.m. to rehearse with 8th graders.
Saturday-Austin Peay contest-We will meet @ 9:30 for immediate departure.

THANK YOU to all who traveled to Peabody on Friday and/or the Parade and/or Contest on Saturday! What a great cheering section we had Saturday night!
Monday is Fall Break-Enjoy!
Austin Peay room money is due THIS TUESDAY. Each student with 4 student in the room owes $21 and each student with 3 in the room owes $28. This MUST be paid on Tuesday so we can pay for the hotel for this weekend.!
The October Disney Trip payment is due THIS TUESDAY! Contact Thomas Tours to make payment arrangements if this is going to be a problem!
Report Cards go home THIS THURSDAY for the first nine weeks.
This Friday is 8th grade night at the football game! The game begins @ 7:30. All high school band members will need to be dressed in full uniform and in their seats @ 6 p.m. so we can rehearse with the 8th graders on our practice field. All 8th grade band members who are also in the high school band need to check with his/her Jr. High director to see what is expected of them on Friday!
Austin Peay contest is THIS SATURDAY. We will meet at 9:30 a.m. for immediate departure to Clarksville. See the attached itinerary for exact details. Ride Home Forms are due NO LATER THAN FRIDAY AT 3 P.M. FOR SUNDAY.
Continue to sell Braided Bread. All orders and money are due NEXT MONDAY (21ST). All students are asked to sell at least 5 loaves or get $25 in donations. Please do your part to make this fundraiser a success.
PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We have been given an 11:30 a.m.performance time for state. This means we would meet at the school at 6 a.m. for immediate departure to Independence HS. There has been some concern that the kids would have to be up at 5/5:30 and would be exhausted by the time of finals if we do indeed make finals. With this being said, there is a proposition for us to travel up Friday afternoon (4-4:30) to Nashville and stay an extra night. The 2 football players and 2 cheerleaders would not be able to come up with us until Saturday. Our Saturday night hotel (Embassy Suites Franklin) is sold out for Friday but the Nashville Airport Embassy Suites does have the needed rooms. We would ask the students to pay an additional $10 on top of the current State Rooms rate (~$22 + $10=~32 for both nights) and the boosters will pick up the rest of the cost. This will give the students an extra couple hours rest on Saturday and a good free FULL breakfast. We have to lock in these rooms early TOMORROW. If you have problems/concerns with this please respond to this email as quickly as possible. If not, we will proceed with the plan.
This is a big cost for the boosters to take on but since our bus drivers have donated their costs this year and your abilities to fundraiser like you have so far, this will be something the boosters think they can handle. Thank you for being so dedicated to our fundraising efforts for things such as this that we don't expect.
Remember State Room money will be due OCTOBER 25.

Saturday, October 26th - Crockett Co. Contest - We will meet early-mid afternoon for rehearsal
