Announcements:
GREAT JOB by the 14 students from GC that represented our band program at the 27th annual Univ. of Memphis Honor Band Clinic this past Thursday-Saturday. Some hard work paid off with some terrific concerts yesterday!
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has volunteered and worked concessions at a basketball game during the regular season! The band gets a good amount of the percentage of the profit from the concessions and it wouldn't be possible without your help!
Mr. Congiardo will continue his lessons TOMORROW!
Jazz Band will meet TOMORROW from 3:15-4:30 in the band room.
Percussion Ensemble will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of this week from 5:00-7:00 in the band room.
All-West Students will depart GC this Thursday at 8:30 am! They will need breakfast items for their room and money for 4 meals (~$10-15/meal). They will need regular school clothes for Thursday and Friday and concert attire (black and white) for Saturday. All students' parents are expected to pick his/her kid up after their concert is complete on Saturday.
Brass Ensemble will meet this Thursday from 3:15-4:30 in the band room.
Bethel University's Band Day - This Saturday (11th) - Open to all high school band students. More information can be found at http://www.bethelrenaissance.com/bandday. This event is FREE!
Update on the St. Louis tickets...the tickets arrived last week. Our representative is in the process of sorting the tickets by the number you requested and trying his best to try and make sure that all of your tickets that you requested are in the same section. As soon as he is ready to distribute the tickets I will let you know. Sorry for the delay.
Students should continue to practice his/her solo/ensemble music. We are here to help if they need it.
Band Booster Meeting - NEXT MONDAY NIGHT - 7:00 pm - Band Room. Remember if your child is going on the trip to Gatlinburg and you need some fundraising money to help get them there then we will be discussing the stew at this meeting. WE NEED YOU THERE! If there aren't enough people at the meeting that want to work the stew for trip money then we will not have the stew this year.
Parent/Teacher Conference will be NEXT THURSDAY (16th - evening hours) and Friday (17th - morning hours) at the high school.

Continue to pay debts off from this past fall! I will include a list of names soon as to who still has a debt from the fall.
Remember that all lettering criteria must be submitted/turned in to me no later than April 15th! If your student is planning to letter in band this year make sure that they have all criteria completed by then.
