· This is what you need to have with you every day for band class

o Black 1/2inch binder with sheet protectors (I will provide)
· Reminder that I will be opening the band room on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 11 for those that want to come in and practice or receive help. Make sure you let me know ahead of time if you are coming so that I can let Coach Taylor and Officer Tosh know.
· This is our Last week of parade band!! Be attentive and be prepared!
· Ride home forms for Friday are due no later than Thursday by 3pm. Please do not email me the ride home form. Send it with the student or bring it and put it in the box on my filing cabinet. There will be two times you can check out your student. 1st time will be at the very end of the Strawberry Parade after the mass band is done after we play Amazing Grace as our band after our trailer is loaded completely. 2nd time will be once we reach McDonalds after the parade.
· We will start graduation music and National Anthem on Wednesday this week.
· We are approaching our first couple of summer rehearsals. We need to make sure that everyone is fitted at the first two rehearsals for their Performance uniform and for their parade uniform for next year. The second one will be May 19th NOT the 20th
· We will be attending the DCI show on July 25th this year. If you are wanting to go and have not done so, please fill out the attached google form. Staff - I will text you with details. https://forms.gle/9L9mfnVUxUPzbSWX8
· We will begin taking band fees for next season at the first summer rehearsal on May 13th. The fee will be the same as this past season $400 for the band fee. The only difference is that it will be paid to the school this year and not the boosters. I will be collecting money throughout the first two summer rehearsals. We will be doing cash and check only for the first couple until we get the things set up to do card/online. The first payment is due no later than May 19th.
· I will be sending out handbooks TODAY!!!!. You will also need to sign up for next seasons band app group which will be in that packet. That is the quickest way to get information out.
· Reminder that all performances are required.
Fundraisers - Our first fundraiser for next season starts today with our calendar fundraiser. This fundraiser will help purchase the items your student needs to from us. The first $95 will be for the show uniform, which all winds and percussion need. After that is covered then the rest will go towards, dot book, shoes, rehearsal shirt, polo, and then lastly band fee. The uniform and dot books are items we have to order immediately.
