The Gibson County High School Band is supported by the Dyer, Rutherford, Spring Hill, and Yorkville Middle School Band Programs. Beginning in sixth grade and progressing through eighth grade, these students develop skills necessary to place them in a competitive arena of musical exploration at GCHS. A diligent program of instruction ensures that each of the 120+ middle-school members develops properly and in a time schedule that ensures success at the high school level.
The financial support for the Gibson County Bands is provided by The Gibson County High School Band Boosters, Inc. This 501(c)(3) corporation is the large and equally hard-working group of adults that ensures that this program represents itself to its fullest each and every time they perform.
