Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Sharon, her two girls (Savannah & Becca), and their entire family after Sharon's brother (Al "Sonny" Paschal) passed away yesterday. He was always a supporter of the band and anything extracurricular that Gibson County was a part of. He recently donated a bass guitar to the jazz band. He will be missed by many. I will let you know when arrangements are complete.

Jazz Band meets TOMORROW from 3:15-4:30 in the theatre.
Fall 2015 Color Guard Clinics begin TOMORROW from 3:30-5:00 in the main gym. See attached information sheet for all pertinent information concerning the auditions. This information has been available in the office and the band room for the last two week. This information has also been available at all middle schools.
Band Booster Meeting - 7:00 pm - TOMORROW NIGHT - Band Room
Due to the inclement weather, our concert scheduled for this past Thursday night has been moved to THIS TUESDAY NIGHT @6:30 in the theatre. Students must be seated on stage in concert attire (NO JEANS, TSHIRTS, TENNIS SHOES, SHORTS, ETC.) @5:45. The concert is FREE and open to the public. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors out for a night of great music by the concert and jazz bands! All concert band members will be required to stay immediately following the concert until ALL equipment has been moved back to the band room.
Due to the inclement weather, our STEW FUNDRAISER will held THIS SATURDAY (14th) @ the Central Fire Station from 11 until 1. All band students (NOT JUST CONCERT BAND MEMBERS) are asked to be there at some point from 10 (set-up) until 2 (clean-up). The lunch is $5 which includes a bowl of stew, drink, dessert, and crackers. Stew will also be sold by the quart at $5/quart. Invite your friends and family out to this fundraiser on Saturday. We will have desserts to auction off around noon. All supplies will need to be in the band room or brought to the Central Fire Station by THIS FRIDAY! Contact Wendy Tate for more information.
Due to the inclement weather, Solo & Ensemble that was scheduled for this past Saturday has been moved to Saturday, March 21st at North Side HS in Jackson. Our performance time is still 10:00 am. Students driving themselves will be expected to be there no later than 9:30 to warm-up. Students riding the bus will need to be at the high school at 8:30 for an 8:45 departure time. The attire for that day is concert attire.
Attached is an updated list of students who still owe a debt from this past fall as of March 4th! Take care of these debts as soon as possible.
Coach Cruce has informed me that there had to be one minor adjustment to the football schedule so I am attaching the most up-to-date copy of the Fall 2015 Football Schedule. I have also updated it on the website calendar.

Thursday, March 19th - Middle School Concerts @ 6:30 in the theatre! This is worth concert lettering credit for those needing to get this completed by the April 15th deadline.
Saturday, March 21st - Solo/Ensemble - North Side HS - Jackson, TN - Performance time for our students is 10:00 am
Monday, March 23rd - Jazz Band Rehearsal - 3:15-4:30 - Band Room
Monday, March 23rd - Color Guard Clinics Resume - 3:30-5:00 - Main Gym
Friday, March 27th - Concert Festival - Liberty HS - Jackson, TN - Performance Time: TBA - Students will miss school this day and will need money to eat lunch with while in Jackson.
