Tuesday - Pops Concert call time 5:30 concert Begins at 7:00
Thursday - Parade Band Practice 3:15-5:00
Friday - Memorization test over Flowers
· IMPORTANT!!!! If you received the link to THE video, please do not share with anyone outside of our band. We will go into more detail on this later on.
· We are still working on some tough music this semester. Make sure that you are putting in the practice time for Fantasia.
· We have started parade band and will be doing parade band every Friday. If you are not in Tennis shoes ready to go outside on Fridays then you will see that reflected in your grade.
· Chair challenge papers have been posted at the front of the class. Take a step outside of your comfort zone and challenge the person ahead of you. We all like competition season, this is a way for us to continue that
· You will also see that band banquet ticket form is attached. Each member is allowed to purchase 3 tickets. This is new!!!!! These forms with money are due back no later than April 30th. You will only be allowed in if you are on the list. Reminder that you can only attend the banquet if you have done both concert and marching band or are actively playing a sport that is 4th block or are in color guard and do no play an instrument. If you are one of those you still must return for parade band.
· You should see the memory book forms attached also. Memory book forms are due back no later than This Thursday the 25th. The total is $45 dollars. I know the form says 40 but it is a mistype.
· YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND JUNE REHEARSALS UNLESS YOU ARE PAID IN FULL BY THE FIRST JUNE REHEARSAL!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS AT THIS POINT!!! Whenever you get your handbook and papers to be signed and brought back there is a payment plan on there. WE WILL BE FOLLOWING THIS STRICTLY THIS YEAR! If you are delinquent when a performance happens you will not be allowed to perform. We have to do better about fees.
Below is a google form link for information sheets. Please make sure that if you are currently in band that you fill this out BEFORE Wednesday. We are going to limit this to current band students as to not over fill our emails for announcements and stop getting kick back emails saying the email doesn't exist.
