Greetings,
While we feel the end is near, there is still so much to learn! The students are completing their STAR assessments and to see the growth from Fall to Spring is very rewarding. We cannot do this alone and appreciate the home and school connection. We never want to stop learning; therefore, I want to take a moment to share that summer school registration is still open. Check it out further down in this newsletter. St. Rita's is hosting summer school, so why not! It is right in your backyard. In addition, it is always easy to pick up a book! We want to encourage you and your family to start making reading a priority. Set some time for ready each night.
It is fun to see the 8th graders create their bulletin boards. The are posting their memories and words of wisdom to leave behind for all of us to cherish. Thank you 8th graders.
Many important reminders about our up and coming events are in this newsletter. Please read closely and mark your calendars. You do not want to miss out on the fun.
Blessings,
Dr. Sue

Our students are very excited about our upcoming spring concert this year! The concert is on Wednesday, June 1st, at 6:30pm, in the gym. Students should report to their classrooms no later than 6:15pm Wednesday, June 1.
Students are encouraged to dress up for the performance, and each grade level will perform two selections. Students are expected to attend the performance, and if there is a conflict, parents need to contact me as soon as possible.
Thank you for all that you do for our school! Happy Spring, and I am looking forward to seeing everyone on June 1st.
Sincerely,
Mr. Scaffidi
Thank you to Ms. Maraccini and Mr. Hinkel! All students in grades 5-8 completed their 3D projects. Several of our student projects were on display. Shout out to Alina, Ella and Elias for presenting our hard work. Check out the pictures below.
Hello St. Rita families!
In music classes during the Month of May, students have been practicing for our Spring concert!
Middle school students are primarily focusing on the guitar, 5th grade is focusing on the hand chimes and 4th grade to Kindergarten are focusing on grade level songs.
Students will continue to play melodies on the hand chimes, and perform rhythmic patterns on hand held percussion instruments and drums.
All classes will continue to sing sacred, and secular songs, and 4th through 8th will continue to learn about official state songs.
Awesome Job Students!
You all are looking good!
